Members Barrel Tasting Lunch 8th November

 

Venue – First Creek Winery for the Tasting, Lunch at Gartelmann Deck

10.30am Tasting, 12pm lunch, $110 Members, $130 Members' Guests

 

We meet at First Creek Winemaking (600 McDonald's road, Pokolbin 2320) at 10:30am sharp, for a tasting of all wines made in barrel. We look at the difference between French and American oak, young and old barrels and talk about how each affect the wine and aid the journey to becoming a finished, bottled product.

We then make our way back to the Cellar Door for a sumptuous luncheon with matching wines - see below.

w/ artichoke, fire seared capsicum, smoked eggplant puree

Served with 2023 Isabella's Barbera & 2023 Jonathan Cabernet Sauvignon

Blood orange tart, pomegranate glaze

Served with 2021 Gracie’s Ambrosia
